I had to draw out my feelings, because I can’t really say them in words. No matter how you may feel, I do like you a lot, and even if these emotions don’t reach you the same way, that doesn’t make them any less real to me.

It's a very intimate scene. The background isn't as simple and static as you might first think, it has layers and ripples, like fog; that makes it feel even more intimate.
The girl's very pretty. There's some really great highlighting going on with her skin and her dress; soft, gentle highlights that make me think of watercolors.
Her expression is interesting; there's a little mournfulness there but she's also smiling gently. Something about this flower has touched her. She wants to express it but she doesn't know how to properly. She can't pick it and keep it to herself because it would die, and she can't speak to it because those words wouldn't reach it. So she admires it.
I feel lonely when I look at this picture with the world swallowed up and silenced by this fog, but take a little comfort from her smile. This comp has a lot of emotion in it, it's very dramatic and touching.
