Kataang Week: After the Storm

The rumble of thunder sounded in the distance, under the umbrella Aang glanced up towards the lighter sky.

"It looks as though it is just about over" he said to Katara. She smiled at him for a moment and with a small twinkle in her eye the waterbender's grin transformed from joy to conniving.

"What is i-?!" Aang's question was silenced as a wave of water was thrust into his face. He coughed and looked up to see that Katara had moved a fair distance away from him, her hands planted firmly on her hips.

"You're getting too soft Avatar Aang!" Katara stated grinning in challenge. Aang paused for a moment, and then tossed the umbrella aside as he ran laughing to face her.

Yay! The start of Kataang week! I missed Tokka week due to my camping trip, but I do want to take part of one of these fan week.

The short ficlet wasn't that great, but I just wanted to convey a bit of the story behind this picture. : )
